One of our state-certified ski guides will show you the most beautiful and best off-piste runs around the Ski and Glacier World 3000. The Zillertal with its high alpine glacier areas, endless expanses of alpine pastures and its many hidden and uninhabited side valleys hides countless and very varied backcountry runs. In addition, the Hintertux Glacier offers a unique powder guarantee from November to May!

Always safe with your guide as your risk manager! Our local, highly trained ski guides have years of experience and the best knowledge of the area and always select the best and, above all, safest lines for you. However, our service is not limited to powder skiing, your powder day also includes tips on skiing technique, avalanche knowledge, line selection and avalanche transceiver training!

FREERIDE LEVELS

BEGINNER
You are proficient in parallel skiing on red slopes, but have no powder experience and would like to ski off-piste for the first time.

  • introduction to skiing technique
  • easy descents on open slopes without obstacles (up to 33 degrees steepness)
  • getting used to the wider ski equipment
  • introduction to handling avalanche transceivers and emergency equipment
  • sensitization to alpine dangers

ADVANCED
You have already skied off-piste a few times, know your way around an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe, but want to improve your technique to have more fun in the powder.

  • easy to medium descents up to approx. 39 degrees steepness
  • small obstacles possible
  • Improve your skiing technique
  • extended LVS training
  • get to know different snow conditions

EXPERT
You are already an experienced freerider, but would like to be out and about in the backcountry and ski the best lines in the Zillertal.

  • up to 1800 vertical meters long descents
  • steep slopes, gullies, forest descents with many obstacles
  • mature skiing technique required, different snow conditions are no problem for you
  • ascents on foot or with skins take up to 1.5 hours

FREERIDING WITH KIDS & TEENS
Freeriding is of course also possible with kids & teens!

  • safe introduction to off-piste skiing
  • sensitization to alpine dangers
  • learning how to use emergency equipment including avalanche transceivers
  • learning the skiing technique with wider skis

    Take the gondola lift (Eggalmbahn-Lanersbach) up to the mountain station, leave the building and you will find our assembly point on the right-hand side.
